Divya GULAB JAMUN MIX
INGREDIENTS
: MAIDA,
SKIMMED MILK POWDER, HARDENED OIL,
CITRIC
ACID, SODA-BI-CARBONATE, CALCIUM CARBONATE.
PREPARATION
Please add 150gms of water to 200gms of DIVYA JAMUN MIX and mix
very gently
and
softly ( NO ROUGH KNEADING ) to make dough. Let the dough stand for 5/6
minutes.
Shape the dough into round orOblong pieces by using oil on the hand to
prevent
sticking. Keep the balls separately in a plate creased with oil. Heat 1/2 ltr.
of
refined oil in pan using low flame ( low simmer please ). OIL SHOULD NOT BE
OVER
HEATED. Put a small piece of the dough or ball
to the heated oil. When it
rises
up, drop all theballs one by one slowly into the oil and fry until Jamuns are
light
brown in colour. Drain Jamuns and soak immediately in hot syrup.
Preparation of Sugar Syrup
Dissolve 800gms of Sugar in
800gms of Water ( For 200gms of Jamun Mix) and boil for 2 minutes
The syrup is now ready for soaking. Add Elachi or Rose essence to enhance
taste.
