Divya Channa/Chole Masala
INGREDIENTS:
Coriander, Chillies, Aamchoor, Fennel, Black Pepper, Turmeric,
Cumin , Cinnamon, Black Cardamom, Tej patta, Cloves and Ginger.
Required: Channa, Tomato, Onion, Ginger and
Garlic(optional), Salt, Oil.
Preparation:
Soak the Channa (200 gms) and leave them overnight . Add some salt and cook the Channas in
Pressure Cooker. Heat some oil in a pan. Add Ginger and Garlic(if
required). Add Chopped Onion (150 gms) and fry till
transparent .
Add chopped Tomato ( 400 gms ) and cook well till oil separates.
Add the
cooked Channa and mix well. Add Divya Channa Masala(about 3 teaspoons) and some salt
to taste. Add water to the Channa and cook for 5 to 10 minutes.
Serve hot with Chapathis, Puris or Parotha.
